Aloha! I'm Foeata.

I've been a full-time lactation consultant for 6 years, although I've been helping moms and babies (including NICU babies!) for over 19 years as a Registered Nurse.

​

I have 4 children of my own whom I breastfed. My breastfeeding journey as a young mother was very challenging. I struggled to keep a milk supply and provide direct latching, however with dedication and persistence, I was eventually able to successfully breastfeed all 4 children.

​

My past lactation difficulties and experiences have led me to become an international board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) and to offer services in an outpatient setting to moms who may need what I once desperately needed as a young mother.

I have a master's degree in psychology, an area of study I am very passionate about. I understand that mental illness can further complicate our breastfeeding journey, but with the right support and plan, we can adjust and move toward your feeding goals.
